Photo 1:
At the arbor entrance of the Three Oaks Garden, one is greeted by a daylily bed lush with tall thin green leaves, topped by an array of bright daylily heads from angel white to peachy pink to sunny yellow. An aged brown grey Oak tree adds a natural balance to the vibrant display.
Photo 2:
Tight ruffle edged orange daylilies, and rich red daylilies with long draping petals, basque next to buttery yellow and royal purple daylilies. A natural wood fence backdrops the bed. Dozens of green buds are making themselves known by slightly tinting the shade of the color they will soon burst open into.

This daylily is a new hybrid being developed by garden owners Jim and Judy Bazzone. Strawberry pink petals are perfectly sectioned in half with a cream white midrib stripe, starting at the petal tip and dripping into a banana yellow flower throat!

Disembarking from tour buses visiting the convention gardens, members of North Carolina and South Carolina daylily clubs browse the Three Oaks Garden, admiring its complexity and simplicity. The garden owner's house in the background is a reminder we all could wake up to this.Photo 1: Gallery Jump Links

Standing at the edge of the Perennial garden, a groomed grassy green surrounds a wood bordered flower island, the far shores a rough natural stone border aligning long flower beds, coming together to form a path in the garden rear, inconspicuously leading to a shrub hidden garden shed, styled to resemble the main house.
Photo 7:
Allowing you to enter into the flower beds, a narrow pine chip path crosses under a natural wood arbor, crested with a ceramic sun smiling at all passing through. The air is gently scented from thyme, evergreen shrubs, calla lilies and daylilies lining the path.

Looking back from the perrenial garden to the daylily garden, the scene is centered by a two tier white pedistal style water fountain.
